In 1841 at the time of the census Thomas is listed as a one year old and in Radford.  In 1864 Thomas married Ann in Radford and by the end of the year on the 8th of December Ann gave birth to their first child, Thomas George.

Four years later in 1868 William was born also in Radford.

In 1871 the census has listed the family as Thos. Cook, Ann Cook, Thos. Cook and Wm Cook.  They are living and working at the General Store on Victoria Street in Radford.  Thomas is a lace maker and Ann’s occupation is given as ‘provision store’.

In 1878 the couple had their third child, Alfred, who was born in Radford.

At that time of the 1881 census Thomas is now living with Ann and their three children at 23 Bovill Street in Radford, along with Ann’s father, William Moore.  Thomas was working as a lace maker and grocer.

Between 1885 and 1889 the family appear to have moved to 179 Norton Street in Radford and was a lace maker in Leivers.  But by 1891 the family of Thomas and Ann and their third child Alfred were at 9 Pleasant Row in Radford.

On the 25th of February 1892 their son William married Martha Ada Cave in Gainsborough.

At present, March 2016, there does not appear to be a 1911 census entry for Ann, however in 1911 there is a Thomas Cooke aged 70 and a lace maker though not working who is married to Fanny, aged 71, for 9 years.  Fanny is from Bingham, Nottinghamshire.  They are at 2 Piggins Yard, Hyson Green, Nottingham.  The house had three rooms.

In 1901 there was a marriage between Thomas Cooke and Fanny Spowage.

In 1861 they had moved to Canning Street, St Mary, Nottingham.  Three years later Ann married Thomas and by 1881 the family, including their three children, were living at 23 Bovill Street in Radford.  Ann was working as a lace maker by this time.
